(I did NOT receive any compensation to give my opinion about this product.  I only received the product to test and review for our viewers.  The opinions written are my from my experience with the product and my thoughts about the product itself.)

I am so happy to have received this Kid Companions wearable Chewelry tool to review from Kid Companions!

I LOVE this chewing tool!  Lucas needs a LOT of oral input to calm him down and this amazing item is such a life saver for us!  When we go out now, Lucas knows that he needs to put on his big handsome boy "Chewelry"!

I will definitely need to stock up on these when Lucas starts school in January!  He seems so comforted by having this to chew on when he needs it!
Lucas is not one to sit still for ONE moment!  When he has this chewelry on he seemed to want to sit and chew!  I was amazed!  I knew that these were made specifically to help children who may have Sensory Processing Disorder -SPD, Autism Spectrum Disorder -ASD, Attention Deficit Distorder ADD/ADHD, etc. but was seriously impressed with how much he "gets" from this little gadget!!!!

You have to stop by and see all of the amazing pieces that they carry.  They even have personalized ones!

If you would like to order one for your little one please check out KidCompanions (Click here : )!

Here is some information about Kid Companions from their site!

We are co-owners of the sensory tool line "Kid Companions -Chewelry" and now "HeartString Baby's Companion -for parents of infants". Our goal is to help special kids be themselves and thrive. Our products give parents peace of mind and support their special children. Mother and grand-mother of special needs children, we have dedicated many hours to assure our products are safe and non-toxic. We pride ourselves on our made-in-Canada, sourced in North America commitment and our social and environmental responsibility.

Pierrette and Lorna
Kid Companions are a line by Pida I & M Products, based in Nova Scotia, Canada. This company was started in 2006 by a mother of 3, Pierrette d'Entremont, with a background in human kinetics and jewelry design.

With her growing children, the owner of Pida I& MP noticed that her daughter, with Tourette Syndrome, SPD and OCD, very much appreciated a heart pendant she had made for her teething sister. She could fidget to focus discreetly and fashionably! Soon, we realized that other parents were looking for such accessories for their special needs children.

With some research we have now made a durable, colorful and safe necklace. Still sourced in North America, our materials are as economical (family friendly) as possible without compromising safety or social responsibility.
Safe, washable and colorful, shapes are smooth and pleasing with a hard embossed "dot" surrounded by a rubbery heart or circle.

The pendants are chewable and should last 6-12 week and more avid daily chewers 4-6 weeks. The lanyards are to hold the tool, not for chewing. If a child does chew fabrics, we recommend our undyed organic cotton lanyard free of colorants and allergens.

The heart shape also has an added oval dip similar in shape and function as a worry stone, wonderful for some children.  view details

A custom breakaway clasp will release and can be re-attached with ease. 18” or 20" necklaces (colorful lanyards) are now 100% organic cotton! Colorfast and pre-washed with plant-based ingredients. MUCH more durable and still washable! The second choice is an undyed, 100% cotton lanyard mentioned above.

They are safe, bpa, phthalate, pvc, lead and latex free accessories made for children-teens.

Kid Companions come in 4 heart colors and a blue, black or white circle. For children who do not like a lanyard around their necks there is a clipped version with an 8 inch piece of lanyard.

Watch for new colors and contact us for updates.

NOTE: Like any chewable item, Kid Companions will eventually breakdown due to daily wear. Discarding and replacing the item suggested. Average use is 6-12 weeks (4-6 weeks for avid chewers) or longer if used as a fidget or as an addition to other chewables.

Thank you Kid Companions for giving us the opportunity to share our experience with Chewelry with our viewers and for offering to give one of our lucky viewers one of their very own!!!
