I received an email from NY Metro Parents and wanted to pass this on to anyone else who might be interested in possibly doing a TV show. If anyone does this, you'll have to come back and tell us how it went!
CASTING CALL FOR NEW PARENTING TV SHOW
Calling all parents! Do you ever find yourself obsessing about creeps, kidnapping, grades, flash cards, flashers, baby snatchers, sleepovers, germs and/or the perils of a non-organic grape? Are you so worried about preparing and protecting your children that you can’t enjoy the magic of childhood?
All parents fret about their kids, but if you’re having trouble separating the worry-worthy from the media factory of fear, we may be able to help!
THE PARENT QUESTION, a new TV show for a popular network, is seeking parents who want to worry a little less and enjoy parenting more. We’ll try to help you teach your kids to be more independent and better able to cope with the ups and downs of modern life. After all, we grew up running loose in the neighborhood, and we loved it (and turned out just fine)! An old-fashioned
childhood IS possible--let us tell you how.
Parenting means losing sleep, but it doesn’t have to mean night terrors.
If you live in the Toronto or New York area and would like to be a part of THE PARENT QUESTION, email us at slee@cineflix.com or call Sylvia Lee at 1-416-504-7317 at EXT 618.
