I haven't entered yet, but I am going to if I have some time later today. My son is 3 1/2 and was just diagnosed recently with having sensory integration disorder. We are doing research on how we can help him as much as we can. One of his issues is understanding where noises are coming from and why they are happening. So we are working on that. It's no fun going into somewhere and the noise of the Halogen lights are hurting his ears. Thank goodness for knit hats, they help to muffle the noise somewhat. We are learning new ways to explain things to him and to work with him everyday. Finally though, Time-Outs are working!
