We were asked to review a new, fully animated, web series called Space Race.
I was really excited because both of my boys are space nuts! They love outer space and have a telescope that they search into the night sky with all of the time!

I knew Lucas would really like these shows because he likes airplanes and spaceships! Let me start by giving you the synopsis from their site about Space Race!
Eagle Wingstrong, a young, hotshot raceship driven to set speed records, is baited into entering the first-ever race to Jupiter. Along the way, while trying to prevent the sinister Vulture Albatross from destroying the solar system’s most valuable natural treasures, Eagle discovers a better and cleaner fuel source.
Space Race will be a fully animated, action-packed feature-length film and web series. The film and web series will feature our engaging spaceship characters, and elements of space travel and racing.
In 2009, the script won a KIDS FIRST! Award as one of the top screenplays for children ages 5 to 8.
Our review is based on the web series for Space Race that they have created to help parents and children learn more about the earth and the solar system all while making it fun at the same time!
They have 8 web series clips, each with different characters, in interviews with Gary Galaxy explaining a specific planet and what its like on that planet. Each video is 4-5 minutes long and created just to keep your little one on the edge of their seat! Not too long that they will get board and just enough to teach them the valuable lessons about that planet!
Each character has their own humorous personality that makes learning fun for your kids!
The episodes on http://spaceracekids.com focus on space education, space travel, and racing, with the goal of teaching children about space and the solar system!
I think this is a fabulous idea to help kids get interested in space and learn about our planets. Using these lovable characters really sparks their enthusiasm to learn.
Looking at the trailer for the movie leaves you wanting more!
Your kids are going to love playing the awesome games on their site which give them the ability to play, learn, and be entertained at the same time.
