I'm KC, a stay at home mommy to a wonderful baby boy, Little Rocker. My days are filled with poopy diapers, cute baby giggles & grins, slobbery baby hugs & kisses, and lots of love. They're also filled with frantic trips to the gym (for some baby-free time with my cousin and best friend), hectic grocery store adventures, and more chores than I have time for.
But I'm loving every minute of it.
I met my hubby, RJ, in 2005 and we dated for two and a half years before getting engaged. We were married on May 9, 2008 on Sand Key Beach in Florida.
We got pregnant shortly after, but lost our first little one in August, at 12 weeks 6 days.
Three months later {in November}, we conceived Little Rocker who was born on July 27, 2009. He is the little joy of our lives, always happy & silly, and always bringing a smile to our faces. He never stops talking, is solely interested in learning to walk and causing daily havoc, laughs at all his daddy's silly jokes, and blows raspberries like it's nobody's business! We can't imagine our lives without him and often wonder how we ever lived. It's amazing how much one little person can change your life in such a huge way.
RJ and I started trying to bring another sweet bundle into our family in Fall of 2009, but began with more issues and sadness. We got pregnant in late November, but that poor baby was lost on January 4, at 7 weeks 5 days. Despite the obstacles that we've had to face, we conceived again in February and are now expecting another sweet little boy {Baby Sprout!}. He is due on November 11, but if I haven't gone into labor by November 5, 2010 I will have a scheduled Cesarean on that day.
Thank you, Lord, for once again blessing our family!
This blog is always written in loving memory of our children lost. We will love and miss you until the day we join you in Heaven.
