LUCAS'S JOURNEY WITH SENSORY PROCESSING DISORDER IS HOSTING
A SENSORY AWARENESS EVENT
TO CELEBRATE THE SPD FOUNDATIONS 30th ANNIVERSARY!
October 2, 2010 - October 31, 2010
I am so proud to announce that Lucas's Journey with Sensory Processing Disorder has volunteered to host a "Sensation Celebration" for the entire month of October, to celebrate the Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation's 30th anniversary and to raise awareness of sensory challenges and funds in support of SPD research, education and advocacy.
The foundation is celebrating their 30th anniversary and the theme is, of course, 30!
Lucas's Journey with Sensory Processing Disorder has pledged to help in the following ways:
To recruit at least 30 Sponsors to join our event and donate prizes, products, or gift certificates, to show that they support the need to raise awareness for SPD.
From the donations that we receive, we will host a Sensational Giveaway A Day event that will be held for the entire month of October.
You can help Lucas's Journey w/SPD by making a prize donation for our event. The prize(s) can be products that you are looking to endorse, gift cards, coupons, anything at all that you can donate for the event would be greatly appreciated!
Please add your name to our growing lists of sponsors who have accepted our invitation for help SO generously are donating to this event to help with our efforts in raising awareness for SPD
In exchange for your donation, Your company will be named on our blog publicity specifically naming you as a donor that is supporting efforts to raise awareness for SPD. You may also have a 125 x 125 button Ad, provided by you, placed on our blog absolutely free for the duration of the event.

If we receive more prize donations than we pledged, we will also hold an auction in October, and all proceeds will go directly to the Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation to support continued research into this condition and are tax-deductible.
We will contact 30 NATIONWIDE MEDIA NETWORKS in 30 days to publicize the event. This is going to be AMAZING and HUGE!
Our blog will be running events through the month of September to help with this process and we will list the media that we contact, their responses, or non responses to our efforts of getting the media attention that Sensory Processing Disorder Deserves. We will giving our members extra entries opportunities in September for actions taken from post assignments to get the media on board to help spread the news about the celebrations taking place in October!

We will raise cash donations for the cause.
I will have a donation button in place and of course any donations made by and individual will get extra entries into the giveaways that will take place in October.
I will be adding more information as I get it but I wanted to get started so that we can get our sponsors on board.
This is going to be such a HUGE event and I am so proud to be a part of it!
